<p>The new home buyer tax credit filing rules are to ward off a repeat of 90,000 taxpayers who fraudulently claimed the credit, according to the U.S. Treasury. Under the new and expanded home buyer tax credit rule , the credit is worth up to $8,000 for first-time home buyers and up to $6,500 for qualifying existing home buyers, in both cases, who buy a primary residence or have one built. <span id="more-1170"></span></p>

<p>The new policy will make it harder for troubled homeowners to start the process, but it should make it easier for them to qualify for permanent assistance under President&#8217;s Obama foreclosure prevention plan.</p>

    *  Working long hours (50-plus per week) is associated with more work interference at home; and the more control people have over the timing of their work, the more likely they are to find it disrupts home life.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Investors and condo sellers in Florida could be major beneficiaries of a new policy by Fannie Mae that&#8217;s designed to provide more mortgage money to stimulate sales. Last week Fannie announced an easing of its tough previous rules on spot loans in dozens of condo projects throughout Florida, including 51 buildings in the hard-hit Miami area with more than 17,000 units.</p>
<p>Fannie Mae said it would now provide &#8220;special approvals&#8221; for loans on units in condo projects that otherwise wouldn&#8217;t qualify for financing because of a variety of issues &#8212; from excessive unpaid condo association fees to high concentrations of investor units. The company also said it is dispatching a team of analysts who will look at condo projects throughout the state to determine whether to grant exceptions to its rules &#8211; and pump up sales volume. <span id="more-1160"></span></p>
