Big Green Technical Solutions is looking for a talented copy writer to work with on a casual contract basis for its web and interactive projects.

Big Green is focused on high-design and high-technology, specializing in providing innovative solutions for marketing initiatives. We do not deploy cookie-cutter projects, and this extends from our back-end code to the front-end copy. The successful candidate will realize that utilizing three hyphenated terms in the same sentence is bad form.

The bulk of the work will consist of working alongside our designers on web projects. Some projects will entail rejuvenating existing content, while other work will be to replace our designers lorem ipsum blocks with appropriate text.

Successful applicants will have the following:
- 2+ years writing in a variety of modes ranging from creative to corporate
- Ability to generate meaningful content without resorting to buzzwords or oft-used and tired catchphrases
- An understanding of traditional structured writing forms. You must appreciate the discipline of iambic pentameter, and cringe at text shorthand. o ic u l8r k? lol *gag*
- Impeccable grammar and speling
- Refined sense of irony
- An ability to dance delicately through fields of alliteration and allegory
- Experience balancing your muse with client requirements

Additional nice to haves include:
- Ability to swim for extended periods of time
- Understanding of hunter/gatherer social dynamics
- Knowledge of artisan boat building and celestial navigation

These qualities, while not critical to this particular job, will certainly come in handy if ever cast adrift at sea.
