Boomers Taste In Cars Changing
Car manufacturers seem always to be behind the curve in predicting how their products will appeal to a certain segment of the buying public. Just in the past few days, articles are appearing in print and on the web, discussing how baby boomers are changing their car buying habits.
The bean counters, in concert with marketers are surveying and crunching the numbers, trying to get a handle on how to boost sales to us boomers.

Baby boomers don’t buy cars the way their parents did.
They aren’t loyal to any brand as were their parents because there’s a large variety of vehicles to choose from and leasing makes it easy to switch from one to another.
Umm, duh!
From my prospective, my friends and myself have never bought like our parents, not just cars, but most all consumer products. Why should we? Remember, we’re the original rebels, the 60’s flower children, pot-smoking drop-outs.
Or so they say!
