We are looking for someone to transcribe French phrases (common touristy content) using an American English approximation instead of conventional phonetic rules or IPA. The position is part-time, but potentially long-term. Here’s a quick sample of what we are looking for:

Tu aimes ces chaussures?
- tew ehm seh shoo-sewr

A degree in Applied Linguistics or French would be a great plus, but not necessary. Prior experience in doing a similar project (with reference) is a HUGE PLUS

At the interview you will be given 3-4 phrases to transcribe.

Compensation: TBD/DOE Please send your average bids per phrase or per hour.

Note: If we agree to work hourly, you will need to come to our office during regular business hour. Per-phrase bidder can work from home.
