French Transcription Aide
We are looking for someone to transcribe French phrases (common touristy content) using an American English approximation instead of conventional phonetic rules or IPA. The position is part-time, but potentially long-term. Here’s a quick sample of what we are looking for:
Tu aimes ces chaussures?
- tew ehm seh shoo-sewrA degree in Applied Linguistics or French would be a great plus, but not necessary. Prior experience in doing a similar project (with reference) is a HUGE PLUS
At the interview you will be given 3-4 phrases to transcribe.
Compensation: TBD/DOE Please send your average bids per phrase or per hour.
Note: If we agree to work hourly, you will need to come to our office during regular business hour. Per-phrase bidder can work from home.
